Preparation and Reinforcement!

PACE's SUPER ROOF CEMENT is a heavily glass-fibered formula unexcelled for the vital job of reinforcing weak areas, turning your roof's weak points into its strongest. Paste-like consistency, it is quickly applied using a trowel, brush or rubber glove.

Application is recommended 1/4 inch thickness for all flashings and loose copings.

All Blisters are Repaired and Sealed

                   

 

1. Where blisters are present, they are slit corner-wise as shown.

2. SUPER ROOF CEMENT is applied under the flaps and then they are tamped down firmly.

3. A FABRON repair is made on top. SEAL-TEX Bonding Adhesive is liberally applied with at least a 6 inch overlap.

4. Within 5 to 10 minutes, no longer, FABRON Reinforcing Membrane is imbedded. Pressed down to eliminate wrinkles, the FABRON is then coated with SUPER ROOF CEMENT. A gallon and a half of long strand fiberglass reinforced SUPER ROOF CEMENT is used for every 10 square feet of blisters. The addition of FABRON's 100 pound per square inch tensile strength provides critical reinforcement for this formerly weakened area!

Special Problems Get NEOPRENE 66

Where metal and paper meet in your roof's construction, there is a wide difference in expansion and contraction.

This is also true for air conditioning flashings where vibration constantly works to undermine waterproofing integrity. The wear and tear here  is incredible, even for our SUPER ROOF CEMENT.

NEOPRENE 66 Rubberized Roof Cement is used because it has a 400 percent stretch and 900 pound per square inch Tensile Strength. This product is also used to seal recurring cracks which often result from structural settling of the building.
